Brazilian superstar striker Vinicius Jr. officially locked himself into Real Madrid until the summer of 2032, cementing his place with the Spanish giants for another six years. This move, announced right after Real Madrid secured Yan Diomande for a club-record fee, squashes any whispers of him heading to Arsenal. He is staying put, and you just know rival clubs are already feeling the sting.
Vini Jr. Isn’t Going Anywhere
This new long-term deal is a massive statement, not just from Real Madrid, but from Vini Jr. himself. He’s been one of the game’s best players for years now, and he clearly feels at home in Madrid. The man even took to Instagram to drop a bomb, declaring, “Eight years at the Bernabeu is a short time, six more years and forever!” You can’t get much clearer than that, can you? Real Madrid wasted no time confirming it on social media, too. They said his contribution to their titles has been absolutely “pivotal” with his insane gameplay, assists, and goals. We’re talking about goals in two Champions League finals they won: the Fourteenth in Paris back in 2022 and the Fifteenth in London in 2024. Talk about clutch.
A Trophy Haul That’s Just Ridiculous
Ever since Vini Jr. joined Real Madrid in 2018 at just 18 years old, he’s been on an absolute tear. He’s played eight seasons, racked up 375 matches, and bagged an incredible 128 goals. And the team trophies? Get ready: 14 titles total. That includes two Champions League trophies, three FIFA Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, three LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey, and three Spanish Super Cups. Seriously, the guy is a walking trophy case. On top of all that team glory, Vini Jr. has stacked up a bunch of individual accolades, too. He snatched The Best FIFA Men’s Player Award in 2024, was named the Golden Ball of the Intercontinental Cup 2024, and the Best Player of the Champions League 2023-2024. Plus, he won the Golden Ball of the Club World Cup 2022 and was the Best Young Player of the Champions League 2021-2022. Oh, and he’s been in the FIFA World XI (2024), the FIFA FIFPro World11 twice (2023 and 2024), and the Champions League Team of the Season three times in a row (2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024). This guy’s resume is just absurd.
With Vini Jr. locked down until 2032, Real Madrid is clearly building for a future of continued dominance. We’re talking about a player who has already cemented his place as one of the most important figures in their history. Get ready for more fireworks from the Bernabeu.
