The WNBA first-round series between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces is going to a decisive Game 3, and honestly, you couldn’t write it any better. This tilt has been pure star power, with Indiana battling back after a tough Game 1 loss to snag a huge victory in Game 2.
Clark Drops a Masterpiece, Sets Up MVP Showdown
That Game 2 win? It was all thanks to a truly historic night from Caitlin Clark. The Fever phenom absolutely went off, posting the first-ever 25-point, 15-assist game in league history! Seriously, she etched her name into the record books. The Fever walked away 99-89 victors that night, proving they weren’t going down without a fight after Las Vegas dominated Game 1 with a 102-85 win. Now, the big question is whether Clark can recreate that heroics one more time. She’s gonna need to, because the Aces are coming for her.
Aces and Their MVP Ready to End It
Las Vegas has their own talismanic presence in the paint, the presumptive WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson. While she might have fallen short of her own heroics in Game 1, let’s be real, she’s always capable of taking over. Becky Hammon’s side is in an ideal position to author a memorable display in this series finale. If Wilson goes off like we all know she can, it’s really tough to see a scenario where the Aces don’t succeed and move on. This is what it comes down to: the league’s top talent squaring off for a shot at the semifinals.
So, who’s ready for this? Game 3 is set to tip off tonight, Thursday, October 1st, at 9 p.m. ET. It’s all going down at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas. You can catch all the action live on USA Network, CNBC, or stream it on DIRECTV or Fubo. This isn’t just a game, it’s a battle for the semifinals, and one of these teams is heading home.
