The Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders are taking their Week 4 battle across the pond to London this Sunday, and this game is massive for both squads. Both teams just snagged their first wins of the season. Now they’re looking to build on that, but only one can keep that momentum rolling.
Momentum Is a Fickle Friend in London
Getting that first W under your belt is huge, no matter who you are. The Colts and Commanders finally got on the board, and now they have to prove it wasn’t a fluke. For the Colts, guys like tight end Tyler Warren, quarterback Daniel Jones, running back Jonathan Taylor, wide receiver Josh Downs, and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner were making plays last Sunday against the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium. That’s the kind of energy you need to carry forward. This is all about proving that the last win was the start of something, not just a one-off.
London Calling: Who Steps Up?
Playing in London is a whole different animal. It’s not just a road game; it’s an international trip, new environment, and a global spotlight. It’s a prime stage for one of these teams to really make a statement early in the season. Colts Head Coach Shane Steichen will have his team ready, but adapting to the London atmosphere and maintaining focus after their first win is going to be key. You don’t want to fly all that way just to lose the good vibe you just created.
This Sunday’s game is crucial for both the Colts and Commanders. You can stream the Colts vs. Commanders game if you want to catch all the action. This is the chance for one of these teams to really start turning their season around and get that win column looking a little better. You do not want to miss this one.
