Baltimore Ravens star Derrick Henry, a legend himself, didn’t hold back on Thursday, calling Atlanta Falcons phenom Bijan Robinson “the best in the game right now.” That’s a huge statement from one of the league’s top backs, setting the stage for an epic Sunday night showdown.
No Hesitation From King Henry
When a reporter asked Henry about Robinson, he didn’t even let them finish. King Henry cut right to it, saying, “He’s the best in the game right now , he’s doing it all.” Henry wasn’t shy about it, adding, “I ain’t gonna shy away from it. He’s doing a great job, hell of a back. He does a great job in their system. Then [he] does a great job when the play is not exactly how they want it , he knows how to make guys miss, and be able to get vertical, and get the most out of a play, for sure.” That’s some serious props from one GOAT to a rising star.
Rival Backs, Mutual Respect, And Sunday Night Lights
It turns out these two powerhouse running backs have chatted a bit on social media, even if Henry doesn’t know Robinson well personally. But you know what? That mutual respect is absolutely electric heading into their Sunday night matchup. Henry said he’s sure they’ll talk after the game, and honestly, we can’t wait to see which running back comes out on top when the Ravens and Falcons clash under the lights.
Get ready, because this Sunday night game just got a whole lot spicier. We’re about to see two of the league’s best go head-to-head, with Henry’s bold statement hanging over everything. Who will prove themselves the best when it counts? You definitely don’t want to miss it.
