The pre-fight show for Dana White’s Contender Series 96 is officially in the books from Las Vegas, meaning the 10 fighters vying for UFC contracts in the season’s final event are locked in. After Monday’s official weigh-ins, everyone faced off, and the tension is absolutely buzzing for what’s about to go down. This is it for the 10th and final event of the season, and every single fighter knows what’s on the line.
The Main Eventers Are Ready
We’re talking about featherweights Ilias Bulaid (9-0) and Erick Visconde (17-3) headlining this absolute banger. Bulaid’s undefeated record against Visconde’s massive experience? That’s a clash of styles that could go either way. These guys just locked eyes, and you know they are coming out to prove they belong in the big show. It’s the 10th and final event of the season, so the pressure on these two to deliver is through the roof.
Pereira Sister Hunts Her Own Contract
But wait, there’s more! The women’s bantamweight co-feature is set to deliver fireworks with Aline Pereira (3-2) taking on Smilla Sundell (2-0). If the Pereira name sounds familiar, it should, because Aline is the younger sister of former two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira. How cool is that? She’s got that pedigree, but Smilla Sundell is no slouch at 2-0. They stepped up, stared each other down, and you can feel the energy. This is her chance to carve out her own legacy, and what a spotlight to do it under.
The weigh-ins and faceoffs are done, the moments captured in video and photo galleries, but that’s just the appetizer. Tonight is when these 10 fighters throw everything they’ve got into the cage for those coveted UFC contracts. Every single one of them is fighting for their dream, and we’re about to witness who earns it.
