Cignetti’s Media Day Dominated by Buckeyes Talk
Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti faced the media on Monday for his weekly press conference, and you already know what went down. Questions, conversation, the whole vibe was completely dominated by talk of Ohio State, the Scarlet and Gray. When you’re playing a team with that kind of pedigree, what else is there to even discuss? It shows how much respect the Buckeyes command, and how big of a game this truly is for Indiana.
Jeremiah Smith and Ohio State’s Top-Tier Talent Earn Max Respect
During the presser, Coach Cignetti didn’t hold back, giving about as high praise as anyone can for Ohio State’s receiver, Jeremiah Smith. That’s a huge shout-out coming from an opposing head coach, telling you everything you need to know about Smith’s talent. Beyond that, Cignetti also went deep into the overall level of talent and coaching found at Ohio State. When your opponent’s coach is talking like that, you know you’re facing a powerhouse, and it makes this matchup even more electric. Having the game at home means everything for the Hoosiers; they’ll need every ounce of energy.
This epic showdown kicks off at Noon ET, and you can catch all the action as part of Fox’s Big Noon game of the week. You definitely won’t want to miss this one, with so much on the line for both of these recent national champions.
