Chicago Bears star quarterback Caleb Williams just dropped a bombshell on Instagram, changing his profile picture to none other than John Wick and updating his bio to a defiant “I’m inevitable.” This isn’t some random social media flex, folks; Williams is currently working his way back from a hamstring injury that’s kept him off the field for the last three games. He’s clearly got vengeance on his mind.
The Wick Energy Is Real
We all know John Wick, right? The title character from those insane action flicks, a hitman pulled back into the criminal underworld, always seeking revenge. Keanu Reeves absolutely kills it in that role, and now Williams appears ready to channel that exact kind of energy when he finally steps back onto the gridiron. The Bears actually scraped by and won their first two games without their star signal-caller, which was pretty wild on its own. But then they stumbled hard, getting absolutely crushed 31-7 by their NFC North rival, the Green Bay Packers, this past Sunday. That kind of loss definitely leaves a mark, and it probably fuels that “inevitable” vibe Williams is putting out.
Pushing For the Falcons
The team’s head coach, Ben Johnson, has been playing it coy all week, saying the starting quarterback for Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons hasn’t been determined yet. Plus, the Bears have a super quick turnaround with Thursday Night Football against the New England Patriots coming right after the Falcons game, which could totally be a reason to hold Williams out for another week. But let’s be real: Williams is clearly motivated to return “sooner rather than later.” He’s likely going to push himself to make it back in time for that Falcons game, channeling every bit of that Wick-level determination.
So, will Williams be under center when the Bears head to Atlanta for Week 6 against the Falcons? He sure sounds like he’s ready to bring that hitman energy back to the field. This is gonna be a wild one to watch.
