The New England Patriots (3-2) are absolutely primed to extend their win streak to three games today, and the timing couldn’t be better with some huge names returning to the field. They’re going up against a familiar rival, the New York Jets (2-3), who are also coming off a victory in Week 6. It sure looks like a setup for a high-contested game.
Patriots Are Looking Like A Wrecking Crew
This Patriots squad just logged their most dominant win of the season, and it feels like they are finally finding their groove. Over the last two weeks, they’ve been playing like one of the NFL’s top teams, and now they get to roll into Gillette Stadium as clear favorites. The momentum is real, and it’s a projected outcome that they’ll snag their third straight W at home. You just love to see a team build that kind of steam.
The Cavalry Has Arrived For New England
What makes this Week 6 matchup even more interesting is the significant reinforcements the Patriots are getting back. Wide receiver A.J. Brown is officially off injured reserve and ready to go. On the defensive side, cornerback Christian Gonzalez is making his comeback after a two-game absence, which is massive for that secondary. And that’s not all, folks: left tackle Will Campbell and running back TreVeyon Henderson have both been cleared to play. Getting these playmakers back just elevates their game across the board. The Jets better be ready, because the Patriots are coming in hot with a full arsenal.
This Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. ET, it’s Patriots vs. Jets at Gillette Stadium. The live score starts at 0-0, meaning anything can happen once that kickoff whistle blows. Can the Patriots keep this win streak alive and build on their recent dominant performances, especially with all that returning talent? We’re about to find out.
