It’s Larry Fitzgerald’s day in Glendale, but the Arizona Cardinals are walking into a tough spot against the Denver Broncos this Sunday. The legendary receiver is getting inducted into the Ring of Honor, and his team, currently sitting at 2-4, is facing a 4-2 Broncos squad that FanDuel Sportsbook has them pegged as +4.5 underdogs against.
Can the Cardinals Defense Step Up?
This game is gonna be a real test, especially for the Cardinals’ defense. They need to stack performances, no doubt. They’re up against a Broncos team that, statistically, runs one of the worst offenses in the entire NFL. So, here’s the deal: if the defense can’t get it done against *that* crew, what does that say about their season going forward?
Broncos’ Dominance vs. Cardinals’ Offense
Flip it over to the other side of the ball, and things don’t get any easier for Arizona’s offense. They’ve gotta find some success against what the experts are calling a dominant Broncos pass defense. That’s a huge ask for any team, let alone one that’s struggling to find its footing right now. We’re talking about a 2-4 team needing to somehow crack a defense that shuts down the air game, all while trying to put on a show for a franchise icon.
This Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 1:05 p.m. AT, State Farm Stadium is going to be electric with Fitz in the house. You can catch all the action on CBS, with Kevin Harlan, Trent Green, and Melanie Collins on the call, or stream it on Paramount+. For Arizona, it’s about more than just a game. It’s about showing up for a legend and trying to turn this 2-4 season around before it gets away from them. You gotta wonder, can they pull off the upset and make Larry’s day even more special, or will the Broncos spoil the party?
