Aaron Ashby has been absolutely ubiquitous for the Milwaukee Brewers this postseason, a cold-blooded left-hander mowing down batters at a historic rate for the past month. Tampa Bay Rays batters must be sick and tired of seeing him on the mound, but get this: on Tuesday, Oct. 27, during Game 4, Fox’s TV cameras caught an uncanny spitting image of Ashby in the stands at Tropicana Field. Seriously, this guy was a carbon copy.
Ashby’s Dominance Has The League Hypnotized
Let’s just state the obvious: Aaron Ashby is on fire. For an entire month, he has been dismantling lineups, and it’s no wonder his star power is exploding. When a pitcher dominates like he has, every opposing batter starts seeing him everywhere. Turns out, for the Rays, that’s literally true. This kind of performance in Game 4 of the World Series is the stuff of legends, and the pressure on him is immense.
That’s Not Aaron Ashby, But It Might As Well Be
The lookalike caught on camera during Ashby’s dominant Game 4 performance was incredible. We’re talking the full package: the beard, the rec specs, the cool demeanor. It’s truly uncanny. You almost have to wonder if the Brewers should sign this guy and see if he can throw a wicked slider, too! The visual was so striking that it grabbed national attention even as the Brewers were battling the Rays in St. Petersburg, Florida. Back home, Brewers fans packed Deer District and places like Leff’s Lucky Town restaurant in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to cheer on their team, witnessing every single moment of this incredible run.
What happens next? The World Series Game 4 is a critical moment. Will Ashby continue his historic run? And will his doppelganger make another appearance to mess with the Rays’ heads? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
