Round 3 of the 2026 Wyndham Championship is already a nail-biter, with Beau Hossler clinging to a slim 12-under lead at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. This Saturday, August 8, promises some serious drama because Ben James and Jordan Smith are both breathing down his neck, sitting just one stroke back at 11-under. You know that kind of pressure? It’s gonna be intense out there.
The Wyndham Leaderboard Is A Straight Up Slugfest
Hossler might be on top after the second round, but that 12-under isn’t exactly a comfortable cushion. With James and Smith right there at 11-under, every single shot in Round 3 is going to be critical. We’re talking about a leaderboard where a single bogey could send the leader tumbling. The tension is palpable, and you just know these guys are feeling it. Hossler lines up his putts like his season depends on it, and honestly, it kinda does. This isn’t just a regular weekend tournament; it’s a battle for position with serious implications for who will be in contention come Sunday.
