It took the Atlanta Braves right down to the wire, the final game of their three-game Wild Card series against the Philadelphia Phillies, but they punched their ticket. Now, the MLB has unveiled the full schedule for their epic NLDS showdown against the long-time rival National League West champs, the Los Angeles Dodgers. And thankfully for Atlanta fans, get ready for some prime-time baseball! There are absolutely no early afternoon snoozers on this schedule.
West Coast Battle Kicks Off The Series
This best-of-five series is gonna be a blast, starting out in Los Angeles this Saturday. Game 1 hits the diamond at 4:00 PM Eastern, a perfect start to a Saturday night of baseball. Then, on Sunday, prepare for a later one as Game 2 is set for an 8:00 PM Eastern first pitch. You know the Dodgers are going to bring the heat at home, trying to get a jump on the Braves.
Home Field Advantage & Potential Deciders
The series then shifts coasts, heading to Atlanta for Game 3 on Tuesday, October 6. That game gets going at 6:00 PM Eastern, keeping that evening baseball vibe alive. If this series goes the distance, which honestly, who wouldn’t want to see that, Game 4 would also be in Atlanta on Wednesday, October 7, also at 6:00 PM Eastern. And if it comes down to a winner-take-all Game 5, it’s back to Los Angeles on Friday, October 9, for an 8:00 PM Eastern start. Every single pitch of this anticipated slugfest will be televised on FS1 and streaming on FOX ONE.
It all kicks off this Saturday. You know this is going to be a battle for the ages between two of the NL’s heaviest hitters. Don’t miss a single pitch!
