The Milwaukee Brewers absolutely wiped out the Los Angeles Dodgers, sweeping them 4-0 in the National League Championship Series and punching their ticket to the World Series. The entire city of Milwaukee is going bonkers, and get this, even their local arts institutions are getting in on the celebration of this historic win.
Art Meets Epic Baseball
The Milwaukee Art Museum, for instance, jumped right into the party. They hit up social media with a post congratulating the Brewers on snagging the pennant. The caption was pure hype: “SWEEP! SWEEP! SWEEP!” It’s not every day you see a museum getting this fired up for a baseball win, but then again, it’s not every day you see a 4-0 sweep to the World Series!
Brooms and World Series Dreams
What made the museum’s post so perfectly timed? It featured a photograph of three brooms from their “Shakers: A World in the Making Exhibit.” Talk about a perfectly themed image for a clean 4-0 sweep! The exhibit itself dives into the cool design techniques of the Shakers, who, believe it or not, invented the flat broom. The museum even encouraged visitors to come check out the exhibit to keep the cheering going as the Brewers get ready for the World Series.
So, the Brewers are off to the World Series, riding the high of that incredible sweep. Milwaukee is totally fired up, from the fans in the stands to the folks at the Art Museum. It’s World Series time, folks, and the whole city is ready for it!
