Michael Skubala, the Bristol City boss, is pumped. His squad just pulled off a gritty 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic, and get this, it keeps their awesome run of form going strong.
The Gritty Draw That Keeps the Vibe Alive
This 1-1 result against Charlton was exactly what Skubala wanted, even if it was a draw. He told BBC Radio Bristol he was “happy” with grabbing that single point on the road. Why? Because it means the team’s “fine recent run” stays totally intact. You can’t argue with results, right? Grabbing points away from home, especially when you’re already on a heater, that’s just good business and keeps the momentum rolling.
What’s next for Bristol City is simple: keep that energy locked in. This point at Charlton isn’t just a number; it’s momentum. It’s about showing everyone they’re for real and that “fine recent run” is no fluke. Let’s see if they can build on it.
