Former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Cam Grandy is officially returning to the team, a move reported by WLWT’s Charlie Clifford. This news drops as the Bengals are absolutely struggling in their Week 7 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, already trailing 13-0 at halftime on Sunday, October 25, 2026. What a time for a re-signing, right?
Grandy’s Quick Trip Around the League
Remember Cam Grandy? He was with the Bengals earlier this season. He got cut back in August when the team was finalizing its 53-man roster. After that, he landed with the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad. Now, just a couple of months later, he’s back in Cincinnati. It’s a quick turnaround for Grandy, showing that sometimes the grass isn’t always greener, or maybe the Bengals just realized what they let go. Either way, he’s back in the fold.
Bengals Getting Crushed By The Ravens
While Grandy is making his return, the big story on the field was the Bengals getting absolutely stifled by the Baltimore Ravens. Going into halftime of their Week 7 game, they were down by a commanding 13-0. Ravens linebacker Trey Hendrickson was out there for the coin toss and getting in the Bengals’ offensive line’s face, with Orlando Brown trying to defend against him. On offense for the Ravens, Zay Flowers broke away for a touchdown in the first quarter, and Ja’kobi Lane even hauled in a pass in the second. Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley was throwing deep and getting knocked around, but still finding success. On the Bengals’ side, Joe Burrow was scrambling, running with the ball as the pocket collapsed, and coming off the field as they punted it away. Head coach Zac Taylor was left watching as his team went into the locker room facing a steep deficit.
The Bengals were clearly in a tough spot against the Ravens, staring down a 13-0 halftime hole in Week 7. Bringing Cam Grandy back now signals the team is looking to make moves, probably trying to shake things up as they deal with their current form. What this roster adjustment means for their performance in the second half of the season is something fans will be watching closely.
