The San Francisco 49ers lost linebacker Dre Greenlaw from Sunday’s rivalry game against our Seahawks, and you absolutely saw why if you were watching. The dude straight-up headbutted a helmet-less Ernest Jones IV right there on our sideline.
You Don’t Touch Our QB, You Don’t Touch Our Guys
It all went down after Greenlaw got flagged for a late hit on our QB, Sam Darnold. You know how these rivalry games go, right? Tensions are high, especially when someone takes a cheap shot at our guy. Our players immediately converged on their sideline, and that’s when Greenlaw decided to go full moron.
Ejection on the Sideline: What Happened Next
He laid a headbutt right on Ernest Jones IV, who was standing there without his helmet. Seriously, what was he thinking? You can’t be doing that stuff, especially not when emotions are already boiling over in an Emerald City rivalry game. Greenlaw was ejected, no surprise there. It’s a huge gut punch for the 49ers to lose a key player in a matchup this intense, and frankly, he earned that walk to the locker room.
