The Minnesota Timberwolves are absolutely BALLING right now, kicking off the 2026-27 season with a perfect 3-0 record, and their summer acquisition LaMelo Ball is not shy about how good he’s feeling. “I feel like I’m always feeling myself,” Ball told reporters after Sunday’s dominant 117-94 win against the Toronto Raptors. “As long as we winning, I’m feeling myself more.”
Undefeated and Undeniable
These Wolves aren’t just winning, they’re straight-up demolishing teams. All three of their victories have been by 20 points or more. Think about that for a second. They’re dropping at least 115 points every single game, and they’ve already held opponents to under 95 points twice. Forget about concerns over the new squad gelling; any worries about needing time to come together have been absolutely extinguished. This team looks locked in already, adding some serious offensive flair and sizzle to a squad that was already fantastic on the defensive end.
Ball and Edwards: A Scary Combo
Ball has clearly brought that spark. He’s stacking up 16 points and 6.3 assists per game, proving to be the perfect running mate for Anthony Edwards, who’s dropping a ridiculous 28.7 points every single night. You wanna know how good these two are together? When Ball and Edwards share the court, the Wolves boast an insane net rating of plus-52.4, according to NBA.com. Yeah, it’s early, but that kind of synergy is no joke. That number speaks volumes about the potential here.
It’s a small sample size, sure, but the message is loud and clear: the new-look Wolves aren’t just showing up, they’re announcing their arrival. This team already looks like a legitimate contender in the Western Conference. Get ready, because the season has just started, and they’re bringing the heat.
