The Seattle Seahawks just rolled onto the field for their Week 6 Thursday night showdown with the Denver Broncos, rocking those sweet 1990s throwback uniforms! This isn’t just a fashion statement, though. Our Hawks are coming into this game with an identical 3-2 record as the Broncos, making this matchup crucial early in the season.
Those Royal Blue Throwbacks Are Everything
Seriously, T-Mobile Park is about to get a blast from the past. Our boys are sporting the iconic 1990s throwbacks, complete with those classic royal blue jerseys. But the real showstopper? The silver helmets and silver pants. It’s a look that just screams old-school swagger. The Broncos, not to be outdone, are also going retro, busting out their “Orange Crush” uniforms from 1977. We’re talking orange jerseys and blue helmets with their original logo. They even wore throwback pregame gear. You love to see it when both teams embrace the history like this, especially when there’s some serious shared past.
Old Rivals, New Stakes: 3-2 And Ready To Rumble
This isn’t just any regular season game, folks. These two teams have a history that runs deep. Remember when the Hawks and Broncos were AFC West rivals from 1997 all the way through 2001? Those were some wild times. And who could forget Super Bowl XLVIII? Our Hawks absolutely dominated, securing a legendary 43-8 win. It’s a score that still puts a smile on every Seattle fan’s face. Now, both squads are sitting at a mirror-image 3-2 record heading into tonight’s action. This isn’t just about looking good in throwbacks, it’s about separating ourselves in the standings and setting the tone for the rest of the season.
Tonight’s game is more than just a throwback party, it’s a chance for our Hawks to build on that 3-2 start and remind everyone who runs the show when these two teams meet. Let’s see our guys, especially Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Cooper Kupp, light up the field in those royal blue and silver threads. Go Hawks!
