The Indiana basketball schedule for 2026-27 is officially locked in, and buckle up, college hoops fans, because it is absolutely packed with heavy hitters. We’re talking eight games on over-the-air networks, with five hitting CBS and another three on Fox. Get ready for some serious hoops action right from the jump!
The Nonconference Gauntlet Is Real
The Hoosiers are not messing around with their nonconference slate. They’ve got a massive rivalry game against Kentucky coming up on November 20 at 8 p.m. in Indianapolis, and you know that one is going to be appointment viewing on CBS. But that’s not all for the power-league matchups. Indiana is set to clash with Syracuse on November 9, Arkansas on November 17, UCF on December 12, and Missouri on December 18. Seriously, these aren’t cupcake games; they are legitimate tests that’ll show us exactly what this team is made of early on. You’ve got to love seeing a squad challenge itself like this.
Big Ten Brawls and Rivalry Showdowns
When it comes to conference play, the Big Ten always delivers, and 2026-27 is no different. The Hoosiers are hosting Purdue on February 16 at 7 p.m. on Peacock and NBCSN, and then they’ll wrap up the regular season *at* Purdue on March 5 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Those rivalry games are always wild. Beyond that, the full channel breakdown means you’ll be able to catch them pretty much everywhere: five on CBS, three on Fox, six on Peacock/NBC Sports Network, eight on FS1, six on BTN, and five on B1G+ (which includes a couple of exhibition games, don’t miss those). They’re hitting the road for a tough one at Oregon on January 6 at 10:30 p.m., then head to Washington on January 9 at 3 p.m. on Peacock and NBCSN. Plus, they’ve got big home games against Michigan on January 16 and Illinois on January 24, both on CBS, and UCLA on January 30, also on CBS. This schedule is a grind!
From exhibition games kicking off in October against Butler and North Carolina to the regular season wrapping up with that Purdue rematch in March, this team is going to be tested every single week. After all that, the Big Ten Tournament runs from March 9-14 in Indianapolis. Better mark your calendars now, because this is going to be a season to remember.
