Sebastian Fundora is back in action tonight, putting his WBC super welterweight title on the line against Ermal Hadribeaj, and if the undercard is any indication, we’re in for a wild ride out in Vegas. This isn’t just another fight, man, Fundora’s been staking his claim as the absolute top dog at 154 pounds, and now Hadribeaj gets his shot to try and snatch that belt.
Fundora’s Title on the Line: Can Hadribeaj Upset the Top Dog?
Look, Fundora’s the real deal at super welterweight right now. The source says it, he’s the “top dog at 154 lbs,” plain and simple. While there are some other potentially tougher challenges out there, Hadribeaj is right in front of him tonight, and you know he’s gonna bring it. This main event is going down live on TNT for those of you with cable, or you can stream it on DAZN if that’s your jam. We’re talking 8:00 pm ET from The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, so you know the atmosphere is gonna be electric for this one.
Electric Knockouts and Gritty Decisions Already Shaking Vegas
If you missed the undercard, you really missed out on some fireworks. Marco Romero absolutely leveled Matias Ferreira with a blistering right hand for an electric first-round TKO, clocking in at 1:54. Ferreira beat the count, sure, but the ref saw that glazed look in his eyes and wisely waved it off. What a finish! Then we had Jaime Osuna taking a tough one against Cristian Cangelosi by Majority Decision, with scores of 76-76, 77-75, and 77-75. Osuna was aggressive, landing heavy punches early, even staggering Cangelosi in the fifth. Cangelosi fought his way back in with some slick boxing, but Osuna’s power advantage and early aggression just barely got him the nod, even with a cut over his eye from the second round. Oh, and shoutout to the canceled Brandon Figueroa fight. Dude lost his WBA featherweight title on the scales then got sick overnight. Rough break.
So, get ready, because the main event is about to drop! Sebastian Fundora vs. Ermal Hadribeaj, WBC super welterweight title on the line, live tonight from Las Vegas. You do not want to miss how this one plays out!
