The Detroit Lions are rolling into Miami this weekend, and they are bringing back a uniform combo that has already seen a massive win this season: the all-Honolulu Blue “Blueberries” are officially on the menu for Sunday’s Week 9 showdown against the Dolphins. This isn’t just a uniform choice, it feels like a statement from a team that’s absolutely cooking right now.
“All Blues Tomorrow” Means Business
Get ready to see those crisp Honolulu Blue jerseys, matching blue pants, and blue socks, all capped off with the traditional silver helmets. The team dropped the news on their official X account with that simple, powerful message: “All blues tomorrow.” You know what that means! The Blueberries, a fan-favorite, are back in action. We saw this look earlier in 2026, when the Lions wore them for their Week 1 opener against the New Orleans Saints, a game they battled through and won 31-30 in overtime. While they have switched it up a few times, like rocking Honolulu Blue jerseys with silver pants against the New York Jets in Week 3, returning to the all-blue for this South Florida trip just feels right. It’s one of the most recognizable looks they have, and it carries some good vibes.
Keeping That 5-2 Roll Alive
This uniform announcement comes as the Lions are absolutely tearing it up, looking to improve on their impressive 5-2 record. They just snagged a gritty 19-15 victory over the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday, showing that this team knows how to close. You gotta love that momentum! On the other side of the field, the Miami Dolphins are struggling, heading into this matchup at a 1-6 clip. Sunday’s game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium, and you know the Lions are hungry for another W. They are looking to pick up another important victory before they pack their bags and head overseas for a November 15 clash against the New England Patriots in Germany. Let’s hope the Blueberries bring that winning magic again!
