Class 6A Heats Up With Westlake At The Top
Westlake’s dominant 32-8 run means they are officially leading the pack in Class 6A. They’ve earned that No. 1 ranking, but the competition is right there. Round Rock is sitting at No. 2 with a 28-10 record, not far behind. Then you’ve got Lake Travis at No. 3, boasting an even better 33-6 record, which tells you how tight this race really is. Rouse (22-15) and Dripping Springs (24-16) round out the top five, showing that Class 6A is stacked with serious talent. Keep an eye on Westlake’s Geralynn Byers-Veal, too, she’s out there making plays and celebrating with her teammates, showing the kind of energy that gets you to No. 1.
Dominance Across Other Classes
It’s not just Class 6A seeing some top-tier action. Over in Class 5A, Liberty Hill is absolutely crushing it, holding down the No. 1 spot with a phenomenal 35-5 record. Georgetown is right behind them at No. 2 with a 34-5 mark, proving that winning is contagious in that class. Anderson (23-6), McCallum (27-12), and Glenn (23-13) fill out the rest of the top five there. And for Class 4A/Others, Wimberley is putting on a clinic, claiming No. 1 with an incredible 35-4 record. St. Andrew’s (23-9), Burnet (25-12), Lago Vista (19-12), and Thrall (20-14) complete their respective top fives. It’s clear that across all these classifications, teams are bringing their A-game, and these rankings prove it.
